DADS Long Term Care Quality Reporting System:
http://facilityquality.dads.state.tx.us/qrs/public/qrs.do?page=qrsSelCou...
- Get information about how HCS, as well as ICFMR, service providers are doing on their annual surveys (or program audits). Note that having quite a few (perhaps 1-10) deficiencies does not necessarily mean that the program or that the provider is bad. Be sure to scroll down to look and see what categories the deficiencies fall under. You might want to be wary of providers that have a lot of deficiencies under the “Rights” category though. But a lot of times deficiencies are for minor things like an error on paperwork.
